Biography

Prof. Dr. Jun Nakamura is a distinguished professor at the School of Informatics and Engineering, University of Electro-Communications. He completed his undergraduate studies at Keio University, earned his master’s degree at the University of Tsukuba, and obtained his Doctor of Engineering degree from the University of Tokyo in 2011.

His research spans a diverse range of topics including concept design, creativity support systems, design thinking, and the integration of information technology with human cognitive processes. Prof. Nakamura’s work has significantly advanced our understanding of how analogical reasoning and creative thinking can be harnessed to drive innovation in product development and organizational learning.

With numerous publications in leading international journals and conferences, he has made impactful contributions to fields such as human–computer interaction, cognitive science, and organizational studies.
