Welcome to ICONPASS 2024!

The International Conference on Innovation and New Paradigm of Sustainable Science (ICONPASS) 2024 will be held hybrid during August 10-11, 2024. The ICONPASS is an annual international conference organized by the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Negeri Surabaya. This conference aims to explore global knowledge of sciences, education, information, and advanced technology. The ICONPASS provides a place for researchers, engineers, and scientists around the world to build research connections and collaborations as well as share knowledge on how to address worldwide problems through discoveries of cutting-edge science and technology.

Since 2015, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals, is a universal call. Sustainable science can play an essential role in achieving the SDGs. To meet nearly all the SDGs’ targets, we will need an unprecedented amount of innovation and New Paradigm of Sustainable Science. In an era marked by unprecedented environmental challenges, the pursuit of sustainable materials and practices is essential. The materials we use have a profound impact on our environment, and the development of sustainable materials is at the forefront of the battle against climate change, pollution, and resource depletion. Researchers, engineers, and thought leaders will converge to discuss the latest advancements in materials designed to reduce our environmental footprint and protect our planet’s future.

This year, our theme is: “Sustainable science: prospects and challenges in academic and industrial environments” This theme supports UN’s SDG’s agenda mainly on (3) Good Health and Well-Being, (4) Quality Education, (6) Clean Water & Sanitation, (7) Affordable & Clean Energy, (8) Decent Work & Economic Growth, (9) Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure, (11) Sustainable Cities and Communities, (13) Climate Action, (14) Life Below Water, and (15) Life On Land. Our conference proceedings program reports the findings from scientific meetings that span the physical sciences, including physics, mathematics, chemistry, and materials science.
